Cabin highlights include views of mountain peaks from the large central window and easy access to the Elk River (the shortest walk to the river among the cabins at Glen Eden) and the lower Glen. The primary bedroom has a king bed, while the second has two twin beds. Pioneer has a sleeper sofa in the living room. Crack a window in the bedroom and let the sounds of the river lull you to sleep. Private fishing is steps away on site, and recreation activities in the surrounding area are plentiful: hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, gravel cycling, boating, snowmobiling, nordic and backcountry skiing, and snowshoeing. This was our 3rd stay at Glen Eden and I think this was our favorite cabin. Nice inside and I liked that it was on the end of the property (had to turn the car around, but didn't have to drive through the whole resort).
This is one of my most favorite places to stay in all of Colorado. So beautiful and away from it all while only a short drive from Steamboat.
