We chose Knapsack because it was relatively far from the road and the other cabins, and it was a good choice. Everything was clean and newly renovated. There was a very large group at the resort while we were there which was loud and disruptive to the calm weekend we had in mind, but I'd definitely return - maybe choosing a spot closer to the river for the white noise and nature view. Great bar/restaurant and nice heated pool and hot tub. Close to fabulous Pearl Lake and Steamboat Lake State Park, as well as the Clark Store and restaurants in Hahn's Peak Village.
Great accommodations & super attitude
Great location to Pearl lake and Steamboat lake and only 20 min to Steamboat! Staff are friendly and accommodating! Drinks and dining are delish in the Tavern! 2 bedroom 2 bath as described.... Cozy and loved the back deck area with green Mountain View’s and whispering Aspen leaves to lull you to sleep! Kitchen fully outfitted as well! We will definitely return!
